1. About Check Them Out

Check Them Out is an Australian public information aggregation and search platform. Check Them Out helps users generate public search leads for dating safety checks, employment checks, business checks, phone checks, social media checks and general background checks.

2. Public information only

Check Them Out only uses or links to publicly available information from lawful and accessible sources. Check Them Out does not access private accounts, private messages, restricted systems, hacked data, unlawfully obtained material or non-public databases.

3. No final determination

Check Them Out does not determine whether a person is safe, unsafe, suitable, unsuitable, guilty, dishonest, trustworthy, criminal, fraudulent or dangerous. Search results are leads only and must be independently verified.

4. Acceptable use

You must only use Check Them Out for lawful, fair and responsible purposes. You must not use Check Them Out to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, discriminate, unlawfully monitor, defame or harm any person or business.

5. Employment and business use

If you use Check Them Out for employment, contractor, tenancy, insurance, legal, business or professional screening, you are responsible for ensuring you have lawful authority, consent where required, and compliance with all applicable Australian laws.

6. Accuracy and third-party information

Public information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, duplicated, misleading or connected to a different person or entity with similar details. You must verify all findings before relying on them.

7. No search history

Check Them Out does not intentionally store user search history or build permanent background check dossiers. Some limited technical records may exist temporarily through normal server, security, payment or hosting logs.

8. Reports

Where PDF report download is available, the report is provided for the user’s own review. Downloaded reports must not be misused, published unlawfully, or treated as a verified investigation report unless independently checked.

9. Payments

Check Them Out may offer free searches and paid searches. Paid search fees are charged for access to the search/report function and do not guarantee that adverse findings, positive findings or complete results will be found.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creditable Technologies Pty Ltd is not liable for loss, damage, claims or decisions arising from use of Check Them Out, reliance on third-party information, user misuse, mistaken identity, outdated records or incomplete search results.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. State and territory laws may also apply depending on the user, location, search purpose and circumstances.
