1. Who we are

ParCam is operated by Creditable Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 14 665 189 319). This policy explains how we handle personal information when providing ParCam services in Australia and New Zealand.

2. Information we handle

  • Contact and account information, including names, email addresses and authentication information.
  • Search information supplied by a customer, including names, aliases, locations, phone numbers, email addresses, usernames, businesses, websites and other clues.
  • Public-source search results and references that may relate to the person, business or identifier being searched.
  • Order information, including product, price, currency, status, selected jurisdiction and categories, acknowledgements and transaction timestamps.
  • Payment references and status supplied by our payment processor. ParCam does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
  • Technical and security information needed to operate, protect and rate-limit the service, including hashed network identifiers and server security logs.
  • Communications sent to our support or privacy address.

3. Why we handle information

  • To create previews, perform requested searches and deliver purchased results.
  • To process and reconcile payments and provide transaction support.
  • To email secure result-access links and service communications.
  • To prevent abuse, fraud, prohibited searches and unauthorised access.
  • To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the reliability and security of ParCam.
  • To meet legal, accounting, regulatory and dispute-resolution obligations.

4. Search subjects and public information

Customers may submit information about another person or organisation. Customers must have a lawful purpose and must not use ParCam to harass, stalk, discriminate, intimidate or cause harm.

Search findings come from publicly accessible sources and indexes. Inclusion in a result does not confirm identity, ownership, location, conduct, criminality or any other fact.

5. Temporary search retention

Detailed guest search clues are stored temporarily so the preview, checkout and result-delivery process can operate. An unpaid temporary search session normally expires after approximately 30 minutes.

After successful payment, temporary search information and result access may remain available for up to 7 days. Access may end earlier for security, legal or operational reasons.

Order and transaction records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for accounting, taxation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling and security. These records may include the customer email, product, amount, status, categories, jurisdiction, acknowledgements, payment references and timestamps.

6. Payments

Card entry and tokenisation are handled by Square. ParCam receives a payment token and transaction identifiers needed to request and reconcile payment, but does not receive or store the complete card number or card security code.

Square handles payment information under its own privacy and security terms.

7. Cookies

ParCam uses essential authentication cookies for registered professional users. These cookies support login, session security and protected access.

ParCam does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers. If this changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.

8. Service providers and disclosure

We may disclose limited information to providers that support hosting, databases, email delivery, payment processing, security and public-source searching. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service.

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, to respond to lawful government requests, to protect safety or legal rights, or in connection with a business restructure subject to appropriate safeguards.

Some providers may process information outside Australia or New Zealand. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to assess and manage cross-border privacy risks.

9. Security and data breaches

We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We assess suspected data breaches and make notifications where required by applicable Australian or New Zealand law.

10. Access, correction and complaints

You may ask for access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable exceptions. You may also make a privacy complaint using the email address above.

We will verify identity where appropriate and respond within the period required by applicable law. If a complaint remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and last-updated date will remain available on this page.
