Search Terms

1. Agreement

These Search Terms form an agreement between you and Creditable Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 14 665 189 319), the operator of ParCam. By creating an order, making a payment or using purchased results, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering this agreement.

2. The service

ParCam submits focused searches to public-source services and presents possible matches, guided verification sources and reports. Results are investigative leads only.

ParCam is not an identity-verification service, police check, credit report, licensed employment background check, legal database or guarantee that a person or organisation is genuine, safe, qualified or free from adverse information.

3. Lawful and responsible use

• You must have a genuine lawful purpose for every search.
• You must not use ParCam to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, discriminate against, dox or cause harm to any person.
• You must not use results for identity theft, fraud, unauthorised access, unlawful surveillance or any criminal purpose.
• You must not attempt to access restricted systems, bypass access controls or automatically open private-network destinations.
• You must not present possible matches as confirmed facts or publish allegations without appropriate independent verification.
• Employment searches require consent or another documented lawful basis and compliance with all applicable workplace, discrimination and privacy laws.
• You must not make a high-impact decision solely from a ParCam result.

4. Information you provide

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information and URLs you submit. Supplying a social profile or other URL does not mean ParCam has verified its owner or connection to the search subject.

You must not submit information that you are prohibited from possessing, using or disclosing.

5. Search results

Public-source indexes may contain errors, stale information, duplicate records, name collisions, overseas references or content taken out of context. Sources may change or disappear after a search.

You must open the original source, assess its ownership and publication date, compare identifiers and independently verify material information before relying on it.

ParCam does not guarantee a particular number of relevant findings or that every available public source will be located.

6. Orders, prices and payment

The package, price, currency and included features are displayed before payment. Prices described as including GST include applicable Australian GST.

Payments are processed by Square. An order is not paid until payment is confirmed. Duplicate payment requests for an already-paid order should return the existing payment result rather than create another completed order.

7. Delivery and expiry

Paid results are made available through a secure access token and may also be delivered through a secure email link. You are responsible for protecting those links and must not forward them to unauthorised people.

Unpaid checkout sessions normally expire after approximately 30 minutes. Paid guest result access normally expires after 7 days. Download any permitted report you need before expiry.

8. Refunds and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, New Zealand consumer law or other applicable law.

Because a search begins and provider costs may be incurred after payment, a change-of-mind refund may not be available once processing has started. This does not limit remedies available where the service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

Contact us promptly with the order ID if a paid search was not supplied, was duplicated or experienced a material technical failure.

9. Intellectual property

ParCam software, report designs, branding and original service content belong to Creditable Technologies Pty Ltd or its licensors. Source-page content remains the property of its respective owner.

You may use a purchased report for your own lawful purpose. You must not resell, scrape, reproduce as a competing database or remove ParCam verification warnings.

10. Suspension and refusal

We may refuse, stop or restrict a search where reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, enforce these terms, investigate abuse or protect service security. Where consumer law requires a remedy, these powers do not remove that right.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParCam is not responsible for decisions made from unverified results, third-party source errors, unavailable external services or content changed by a source after retrieval.

Where liability cannot be excluded, any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that legislation does not allow us to exclude.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in Queensland may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional protections that apply to you, including rights applicable in New Zealand.
